My mother resides at Solstice in Sandy, UT for 3 years. Living conditions here are unsatisfactory and continue to worsen. Employee turnover is so high that they are always short-handed in the dining, kitchen and cleaning staff, causing meal service to be extremely slow and poor qualify meals. This week, 6 employees turned in resignations mainly because management cut their hours so low it's not worth the commute and they don't feel appreciated by Chris. Residents are very upset with Chris, the manager. He doesn't seem to care about their needs or satisfaction. Several residents have moved to other facilities with better management, higher morale among employees, and better food. They have been trying to talk my mother into moving. Solstice is a beautiful facility in a convenient location. I prefer that she remain there if the management issues can be resolved soon.
