Fires most caring 4 yr employee (CNA) without warning for one time 1 hr -early- clock in. Kid is stressed to make rent because friend and co-renterlost their job. Realizes mistake of not asking for early start. Company posts their job opening next day at salary level below what they were making. Caring employer they are not. Work these kids 12 hr shifts for peanuts and discard them like the shells. Would not let me post unless I added a star :(

I work in EMS and we were called out for a routine transport from a hospital in the area to this sorry excuse for a facility. Allow me to explain why I say this facility is awful; Upon arriving to Capitol Hill with out patient my partner and I attempted to enter the facility and discovered that we were locked out. There was also a resident waiting outside the door that stated she had been locked out for an indeterminate amount of time. This in and of itself is pretty egregious but what followed was worse. My partner and I attempted to knock and ring their doorbell for several minutes. When that failed to get anyone's attention we contacted our dispatch and asked them to call the facility, they agreed. I aslo started calling while my partner went around to different doors where he tried to gain access. During all of this a member of their staff showed up and tried to get in as well, and when she couldn't she just left! Finally after over 20 minutes and at least 10 attempts at calling while trying to get inside a member of the staff came and let us in. Once my partner and I got our patient to their room and into bed we tried to find a nurse, there wasn't one. The highest trained person in the entire facility was a med tech. I cannot even begin to explain how terrible this place was, I feel like we dropped off our patient to die.

Clean, attractive and bright lit. A well located haven for family members who can no longer, or who cannot take care of themselves.

Best employees, very caring. Makes for happy residents.
