This coming Oct 1, James and I will have lived at Our House for 4 years. It has been a good experience and we wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The food is great and the activities have been fun. There have been some interesting experiences. Tena Larsen is the Activity Director here. She took us to Promatory Point and we saw where the trains came together back in the 1800's. We went to Antelope Island and saw Buffalo. We went to the Amish Store and shopped around and after we were finished, we sat down at a long table in the store and everyone shared what they bought. All of us who went on the trip received a sample to eat what everyone else had bought. There are also many activities here at home. We did a virtual reality where we here took a trip to Mars! Next time we are going down under the ocean! There is Bingo and there are parties. There is a general store. Again, Tena buys things the residents here can use. There is a fireplace in the living room and it's nice to sit near it once in a while. Tena takes us to movies and she does all kinds of stuff with us. The staff here is great and they treat the residents here very well. They are always willing to help. The Administrator Pat Leavitt always has her door open to come in when ever we have concerns or just to chat. There is an on staff nurse here, Katie West. Her door is also always open, also, if you have a medical concern she is there to answer our questions. One of the staff here is a young girl whose name is Erica Davis. Erica took over the job of doing transport after Hope Brewer decided she wanted to do CNA work only. Erica is fun to be with and sometimes goes to movies with us. She is computer savvy and has been a big help to me. Another staff member who does a great job is Armida, our housekeeper. She keeps our home clean and we are grateful to have her. Elvia Clark is the head cook here. She is an excellent cook and has the main job of keeping the residents here happy and fed. Rosalind Montague is the receptionist here. Roz wears several hats. She is the receptionist, works occasionally as a cook and does the major part for decorating. She gets up on her ladder and has never fallen but, you never know. Ken Jones is the maintenance man here. Without him, nothing would be repaired. He is part of what keeps Our House together. We have a great staff who are always ready to help those of us who live here.

My wife and I needed to move a dear friend out of an ugly, abusive situation in a center where he was living, and what a gift and blessing it was for him, and us, to find Our House Assisted Living. We couldnt possibly be any happier, but more importantly, neither could our friend. The management and staff at Our House provide attentive, caring, and highly personalized care for our friend, including addressing some singular needs he has. Importantly to us, were entirely comfortable having him live at Our House, knowing hes very well taken care of, and that comfort comes from our friends years now of residing there. The facility itself is beautifully designed, with a very home-like feel to it and provides every needed utility and convenience for our friend. The food, served in a nicely appointed dining room where friends meet and share that time together, is wonderful, with an impressive array of menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the activities, celebrations, outings, and parties provided by Our House are thoughtful, well planned, and tailored to the interests and likes of its residents. Perhaps I could best sum it up by referring to the overall experience of our friend, who truly loves living at Our House Assisted Living, when he would say, Living at Our House feels like living at my house. That means a lot to us. We truly can give the highest recommendation for the caring attention, beautiful facility, and fulfilling lifestyle found at Our House Assisted Living.
