Sunshine Terrace Foundation

My sweet mom lived there several months before she passed. What a wonderful caring staff!! They had meetings with my mom and my siblings to understand her needs, what they needed to change or do to be able to give the best course of action to help her and us. When I had to leave her I always felt like she was in the best hands and that she would be cared for in the best possible way. At this point in her life it was hard to see the decline of her body and mind but the staff helped us understand what was happening and how we could help. I could feel the love and respect many of them had for their sweet clients living there, Im sure its extremely hard to watch so many people suffer, they were loving and kind, tried to brighten each last moment we shared with my mom until she passed on. The staff was reverent, caring, sympathetic and showed love and compassion to our family, I will forever be grateful for their care!!

I'm from out of state so I am not able to visit often. The staff seemed helpful and nice, but honestly the place is filthy. The smell of urine and feces permeates the halls. My aunt was laying in the same dirty bed with dirty bedding both days I was there. She looked unkempt and uncared for. It just breaks my heart. I am only a niece, but I wished I could have picked her up and carried her out of that awful place.

Staff there is AWESOME! They love their patients and provide A+ 5 star care.
