Spring Gardens Holladay

My mother has been at Spring Gardens (previously named Abbington) for over and year and I couldn't be happier with the care she is receiving. I think the thing that is most extraordinary about this facility is that every single staff member I've encountered (administrators, program directors, medical staff, aids, kitchen and maintenance staffs etc) has been cheerful, helpful and truly seems to want to do everything possible to make my mother's life as pleasant as possible. My mother's needs have evolved quite a bit and every step of the way I have worked with the staff to create a customized plan of care for her. She has been in both assisted living and memory care. As her needs change I can easily add more or less care as the situation demands. The physical facilities are beautiful and there is not a smell or a feel of an institution. They offer a wide diversity of activities that provide my mother with days full of physical, artistic, cognitive and social stimulation.We've taken advantage several times of the spaces where Mom can host a family gathering. It's nice that she feels like she can still host friends and family at her home. It's always hard to see a parent lose some independence, but my mother loves all the positive care and attention she receives and it has given me great peace of mind knowing she is so well cared for.

I have had the pleasure of working with the staff in this facility. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. I would not hesitate to decide to move my family member here. I recommend Spring Gardens to everyone.

This is Mira's daughter posting for Mira. Spring Gardens has been wonderful during this difficult transition. The staff has been kind, patient, and professional. They truly care about their residents. The facility is clean, light, and cheerful. The staff has been very patient and kind in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. They have excellent on site medical care, good food, and plenty of activities. I would have no reservations recommending Spring Gardens. It brings great peace of mind to know that my mom is safe and content.
