Country Home Assisted Living

we were nervous about having my father in an assisted living facility. The moment we walked in to Country Home, we were at ease. Everyone there is so kind. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, gentle and showed my father respect at a very vunderable time in his life. I was afraid that he would never be touched, other than in a clinical way, the first thing i noticed was when Gilda met my father, she touched his arm, then rubbed his back while she was talking to him, its the same gentle loving touches that our family gave him, it warmed my heart.When we left, we felt as if we had been guided there through a series of events but, so blessed to have found Country Home. I will never be able to thank Gilda and her staff enough for the care they gave our father. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I feel so blessed we were guided to Country Home. It was a tough thing to accept that my Dad needed more care than we were able to provide. Worried the spot would be taken we reserved an open room for my Dad the day before my oldest son's wedding. When I went with my mother to see the place I met Gilda McBride, the owner/manager, for the first time. She has a genuine and loving way about her that comforted me in this decision. Country Home provides excellent care! Unlike many hospital type facilities, their motto is true; 'Our RESIDENTS do not live in our WORKPLACE we work in their HOME.' There are currently 4 residents, I've grown to love each of them. I don't just visit my Dad, I visit everyone there. More private rooms have recently opened up as they have remodeled and added 3 more rooms. If you are looking for assisted living for a loved one I would highly recommend checking it out!! Thank you to all the staff who love and care for my father!

I know Gilda, the administrator, and I am very blessed to know her. She wants what is best for her residents. Gilda is very caring, kind, and loving. I have observed the residents are treated in a very loving way. When I go to Country Home Assisted Living, the residents always seem very happy and at ease.

Great place! Such caring aids and owner. They are very attentive to all the residence living there. They treat them as they would their own parents. Country Home is a small and very homey place. I would highly recommend them.
