Pets urinated on hallway floors and instead of cleaning it up management had maintenance to paint over it only in places where urine was on floor. Now the hallways are patchwork painted. The whole apartment complex smells like the water coming out of the faucets. When complaints were submitted we were told to buyWater filters. Our clothes smell like the water and we have to bathe in it. There are electrical problems in my apartment and they have not been fixed.

This is the 1st time I've lived in a apartment and on my own. I was concerned about the reviews I read but after I came and talked to management I could tell they very personal. I've been here for 2 months and the couple issues I've had were taking care of quickly and professional by Shawn and James. I do understand this is a large and older apartment and there will be issues but I've been happy. The residents are very friendly and helpful with questions. The only thing that I would love are more 2 car garages but that has nothing to do with management.

Although we do not live here at Home Towne at Tomball, we live at Home Towne on Belfort, where Tina Bateman is the area manager for this property until recently where the property manager Renita Brown is no more and Tina Bateman is directing business, hence me posting my review that went up against them on this property as well.We have been in Home Towne on Belfort since Oct 3 last year. As we moved in, we encountered a massive black and white debris coming out of the HVAC system. Upon repeat un-tended service request, and failed management attention, I started investigating around mid Dec. I found powder substance placed by someone to combat insect/roach infestation inside the Return Vent Ducts. I submitted to a clean-up conducted by staff maintenance and contractor, but continued to encounter the same debris from the HVAC every time the system operated. We had encountered many disregards and ignorance up to now where we are facing eviction for crying out loud about the problem. After discussion with other residents, the issue turned out to be a common complaint by many. The general community members are so friendly and honorable. The staff management are mostly indifferent, deceptive, and aggressive toward community members who complain too loudly about delinquent and delayed services.City and State agencies have been notified. No action yet, except by management, accusing us of disorderly complaints and issuing a 3-days-to-evict legal notice drafted by their law firm.We are now dealing with them and their disorder in county court.

What a horrific experience with Home Towne and we didn't even end up signing the lease. Staff is demeaning, rude and when you press for details they hang up the phone on you. They requested an additional deposit during the application process - which we gave them - to my own regret and when we decided to not live there. They refused to give it back. I have never met a more cunning and deceitful woman than Dawn and her boss Tina defends her to the ground. Tina is insolent, arrogant and refused to answer the most simple questions. Tina and Dawn are thieves and HUD should investigate them immediately.

Multiple layers of mold in the ventilation system. I was told it's only discoloration. Requested work order sat on managers desk for months . Not all deposit due was returned. Carpeting had holes in it and padding was visible. People were very nice.
