Cornerstone Retirement Community

My Mom, Dad and Grandmother (Mamaw) all live here - Mom and Dad in Independent Living and Mamaw in Assisted Living. I cannot type enough positive words in this review to describe the staff here. Anything we have ever asked for or needed has been accommodated, always exceeding our expectations - from the Executive Director level and down. Mamaw often speaks of Catherine and Lisa, telling me how much she adores them and how much they care for her. Since living here, my Mamaw and my Dad have had episodes that resulted in needing to be transported to the hospital. I never had to worry that they were not getting the best care possible during these instances. I have peace of mind, living 5 hours away, that each are constantly being cared for and loved by the entire staff.When you are there, make sure you enjoy a meal in the dining room. Chef Ty and his staff are AMAZING! (make sure Cabrandis is on staff that day - her smile alone will brighten your day) I have told many around town that this is my favorite restaurant in Texarkana. We eat here as many times as we can when visiting, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.If you are considering moving here or moving someone else here - DO IT! I have spent time with the residents and staff at Cornerstone, and they truly do exceptional care. Everyone seems happy and the atmosphere is always upbeat. I would recommend looking there, if you are looking for a wonderful place to call home.

Cornerstone is a beautiful retirement community with lively, passionate staff! Amber Adams and Carrie Trusty are easy to talk to and knowledgeable with any questions you may have about Cornerstone. Their passion for their work and senior living is contagious. Beautiful community and apartments, attentive and kind staff.

Cornerstone is a one of a kind community in Texarkana! There is no where else in the area that I would recommend for therapy and skilled nursing like I would Cornerstone.
