Richmond Health Care Center

Toured this boutique healthcare facility today and the place was spotless!! The staff were warm and attentive. We spoke with several happy Residents who would recommend this facility to others. Such a welcoming homelike environment !!!

Google notified me that Richmond Health Center DELETED my last review.They beat their patients and blame it on fallsDept of Aging and disability and Richmond Homicide Division is looking into our family members suspicious death. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

I put my sister there several years back and was it perfect or even close...no but try and find any nursing home that is. It is small so she was comfortable with getting around and not getting lost. All the staff knew her. This most important thing I can say is any using home only works if you drop in often and on different times. They knew I would be dropping in several times a week to check on her and that makes a difference in how things were done. One thing I might note...don't leave anything remotely valuable with your love one, even things as little as a new electric tooth brush don't last, it will be stolen by the staff. I started buying her clothes from the Thrift shop because if it was better than that it was gone within a few days.I think from what I have heard every nursing home has this problem so I just dealt with it.

I swear if I could give this place zero stars I would. This is the absolute worse, most unethical, unsanitary nursing home and I wish with all my heart I could take my grandmother out of here. Throughout the years Ive tried to get her out but due to the custody being given to her husband I am unable. Shes in the memory care unit. I have heard the nurses yell at the residents on multiple occasions. They are so careless and leave them in their own filth for hours. I have pictures of the multiple bruises that have mysteriously appeared on my grandmas arms. I also have pictures of the ant infested rooms and the utter lack of cleanliness of this place. My mother and i have spoken to management on multiple occasions and nothing changes. Employees here just dont care. Her clothing and belongings go missing on a daily basis and the staff NEVER knows where it all goes. We have to purchase clothing and blankets for her at least once a week so that she has them because the incompetent staff lose EVERYTHING. Dont leave your loved ones here. Run far away!
