I love this facility. I totally enjoy working here The staff is wonderful and we all strive to make the residents happy and thats what matters. But every since Ann Ryan left its horrible. They have a new lady by the name of Kendra (she's from corporate) and the secretary by the name of Christina they are very racist. And we have proof. When myself and another worker made a complaint to the corporate they terminated us cause kendra and Christina is close so they fired me and chan when we was the ones that were getting harrassed by christina and it's funny cause we had witnesses. Also good luck to anyone who go work for them cause I swear they are very racist and they both made a statement stating that they were going to get rid of the whole staff due to the color

My mom and aunt live here and aren't real happy with they way things are managed. Care givers are highlight. They care but make no money. Administrators and corporate office are just concerned with ringing every last dollar out of the place. Inexperienced cook and low quality food that is mostly starches. Furniture and carpets are dirty. Side doors don't always shut completely which could be a security issue. Building needs to be power washed and trim around doors cleaned and painted. No nurse on staff which was promised. Nothing gets done here. The office staff just says 'they'll look in to it'.Residents are allowed to have small pets which are good for some. Most though probably shouldn't have a pet. They can't take care of them properly which leads to smells and noise nuisances. I recommend looking elsewhere. We are considering other options.

ALERT. Don't allow their *previous* reputation to influence you. Sad what has happened to the Shining Star of Pearland. The one star is for the couple of original staff still there. Most have quit for very good reason. Now, weekly turnover at times, with obviously unqualified, underpaid, and overworked staff. Mother was there for 4.5 years. Absolutely great at first. We were more than satisfied. But once it was sold to an uncaring, greedy corporation, it has deteriorated to despair. I know because I visited every day. Most long-term residents have wisely moved out. Totally uncaring, inexperienced, rude and very inefficient management. Filthy carpets and doors throughout. Dining room dirty. No upkeep. In other words, place is crumbling. Food is mostly inedible now. They now allow animals. Halls and carpet smell of snell if urine. All that matters is the bottom line to these people. Not an environment for loved ones in their last days. Once again, too sad for those in residence there. Ok. .
