4 years ago the staff was so awful to me they have no patience for the disabled they dont know how to handle me when I went so they did there own thing and started beating me up so I wouldn't recommend to anyone I hope the staff get what they deserve

Disgusting facility. Over medicated my brother and kept him basically tranquilized. When wed visit, wed have to wheel him around in a wheelchair because he was so doped up. Multiple times he would leave the facility and the staff never knew. He was picked up one time and sent to a psych ward for almost 2 weeks, and the facility didnt know he was gone. When they found out, no one came to visit or bring him any clothes or even bothered to check on him. Couldnt get him out of that home fast enough. Hes been out for almost three weeks and River Gardens wont answer or return phone calls to get his belongings. Terrible facility for special needs people. Abusive and disgusting.
