Skilled Care of Mexia is exceptional in many areas. The professional administrative team is available, cleanliness of the facility, caring nursers & CNA's, skilled therapists ALL have given my family peace of mind that our mother is in the best place , and is getting the best care for her current condition.

I've always been happy with the care my mother receives here. Living 600 miles from her, it's nice to know she's being taken care of. Being a life-long cook, she's what I'd call a picky eater and she's always been happy with the meals here. That speaks volumes. The rooms are big and have a full bathroom/shower in each one. I've found the staff to be universally friendly and engaged in their jobs. Possibly one of the biggest benefits is that my mother gets to live in a nice, new facility. The building is new, bright and spotless. I've toured numerous facilities like this throughout Texas and Skilled Care in Mexia is the hands down winner.

It says patrick Cates for the name but this is lynda Cates writing the review, my mother has been there since the doors open and the care has been great, and the food is like eating at a restaurant , there are some good nurses and aides that r awesome and some that should not be in the field of nursing, as for the administration I do not like him he is very rude or has been to me..the ADON is so awesome he came to providence to visit my mother who was really sick, I know the therapy department is great, the rooms are big and it even comes with a tv on wall, the place is beautiful and is very clean with no smells like other facilities, my mother seems to be happy there and it makes me happy, she has mentioned some things about her care but as a daughter I took care of it, if u are looking for a place for ur loved ones skilled care is the place.

The staff loves my Mother and even better she loves them. They have taken the time to get to know her. The food is good. She is always pleased with her meals. I have eaten with her several times and enjoy it very much. Its alway smells good and is clean.

Skilled Care is by far the best nursing home in Mexia. My grandmother moved here about a year ago and we have been nothing but happy with their care for her and cleanliness. If you are looking for a place for your loved one this is the place to go. We couldnt take such good care of our Kk with out them.
