During my stay here at McAllen Transitional Care Center I felt very at home. My room was nice and comfortable, the nurses were all very friendly and caring. The team of therapist at this facility are beyond amazing and I'm extremely thankful for them. I am now able to return home and get back into my routine. I would just like to say thank you to the entire staff at this facility.

This is the best rehab facility in the valley we have been to. My grandma had strokes and we have been to different hospitals in mcallen and other places. I feel like here they addressed her needs and now she is walking. When we left other rehabs hospitals she wasnt walking. The nurses also attend to her needs by letting her do as much as she can before stepping in but also stand by her side in case she needs the help. Also the nurse figured out she had a blood clot in her leg and gave her a medication to help so the doctor says it prevented a new stroke

Not at all impressed with this place. Since we have been here the nurses have done nothing for my Grandfather. We have had to move my Grandfather from bed to chair and chair to bed even though they told us they would take care of it since they were trained. After you call for assistance it takes them 30 min to hours to come and help out. We have cleaned his bed ourselves while waiting for someone to come change his diaper after he has been sitting soiled for hours after notifying the nurses.Also we have showered him ourselves since we waited for over 4 hrs for a sponge bath that never came. The only thing they have managed to do is feed him and oh yeah bill the insurance company. We are only holding out to see how the therapy sessions are since people say that is at least good. But if that sucks too best believe we will be leaving to another facility.
