Orchard Park at Victory Lakes

Although our stay was brief, I have to say that everyone there at Orchard Park did an outstanding job! My Joey was fighting a battle much tougher than had been expected but I will say that the staff there did everything they could to make sure that the time that he had left was the best that it could be. Jill, Yoko and Beverly were so very attentive that they made me feel like they were family helping us to cope with everything. I would definitely recommend Orchard Park at Victory Lakes as a great place to have senior family member stay when assistance is needed.

Neglect abuse unprofessional I was welcome into orchard park in November 2018. Ive been working in long term care facilities for 5 years as a certified nursing assistant. The care and compassion for the residents in this community was very poor they hire non Certified nursing assistants to do jobs as if they was certified. Very poor care as in wiping residents from back to front and telling family members lies in order to shut them up . Karen the community nurse was very rude and showed no care for the memory care side.I watch 3 residents in the little of 3 weeks of me being employed die under her care thats the most deaths Ive ever seen in my 5 years.Ive help rescue a patient that escape out the sensor lock doors almost ending up in the deep ditch next to the facility in the cold rainy weather from memory care side. The non certified nurse aids and non certified med techs would make remarks They was happy certain patients were dying or died because it was less work for them ! Ive left my position due to the lack of compassion and motivation to love and care for the residents ! Lets not get on they racist ways and how they treat they employees no wonder the employees dont have care !

To be upfront about my review, I am a private contractor who works at the facility. In total I service, or have serviced about 2 dozen similar facilities. Orchard Park is hands down the cleanest, and has the most caring staff of any that Ive seen. Care givers are patient and kind to residents regardless of the situation. Every employee from the top management to the janitorial staff are mindful and caring and know all the residents names. The kitchen is kept clean, and great care is given to even the smallest details in food preparation. All one would have to do is walk thru the halls of Orchard Park to see how happy the residents are. They must be doing something right!
