New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care of Kyle

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Our grandma was in hospice care and we entrusted her to the staff here. Due to the pandemic they used this as an excuse to not communicate with us. Their phones were down, we actually had to send a nurse to go in a check on my grandma, and she found the entire staff in the smoke area. They fired the people working at that time and hired new staff but unfortunately those people were not the root of the problem. Our hospice nurses were denied entry. They would never return calls and and as we were disputing this and trying to figure out how to move her out, we received a call from the hospice nurse that they had been alerted that was in her last hours. HOURS?! They did not contact hospice before this yet denied them entry. They did not contact us. We got there in less than 30 minutes and she was already gone. This place needs to be shut down. We will fight this and make sure they close down or get an entire new staff who actually cares and doesnt see the residents as a paycheck only, so that one ever has to experience this but in the meantime if you have family there, pull them out!! They are not safe, Holli and Tessa do not care!! This is an awful place and I do not know how these women sleep at night. Tessa (ops manager) even stated she knew the Kyle location had problems and yet did nothing about it! Please do not put your loved ones there and make the same unfortunate mistake we made.
