My husband is presently a resident at the Kounze Nursing Center. I have been very please with his care there. The atmosphere there is more family like than any care facility I have ever visited. It is small but the residents are very well cared for, the food is much better than I eat myself, it is very clean and well maintained. The residents seem very comfortable there and with the staff. All this has made his transition from home to there a lot less traumatizing.

My father was recently diagnosed with Dementia and on recommendations from fellow coworkers my mom and I visited Kountze Nursing Center. From the moment we entered the facility we were very pleased. The residents are very clearly happy and well care for, the staff is always smiling and available to offer assistance at any given moment. Going into this new situation is very confusing, but every single staff member from the director to housekeeping has practically taken our hands and lovingly guided us through this entire transition. Kountze Nursing Center not only care for the residents health and well being but also that of the families health and well being as well. I can't thank them enough for all of their help!
