My daughter has lived at Longmeadow for over 10 years. She loves it and feels this is her home. When we take her out she is always ready to go back.I can't say enough good things about the director and the staff. The director has a huge heart and really cares about the patients. He works hard to make things fun and to make sure everyone is taken care of. Also, Casey, the activities director is awesome. She is always coming up with fun activities. They even have lots of fun outings. They are always coming up with ways to include the families which is so important.The entire staff is wonderful and caring. They work very hard and go the extra mile even when they don't have to. Everyone is treated like family.

The physical therapy here is inadequate. No equipment except one stationary bike. Bed exercises to strengthen the legs is unavailable. Be prepared to buy your own bath wipes, bandages and skin protectant antifungal cream. Bed pads are shared. Buts are wiped with face towels. The doctors are never seen and takes days to answer questions. The aides and most of the nurses are nice and helpful. The food can be quite awful but they are trying to improve and stop overcooking everything. Consider before leaving family members here.

I have lived here for yrs I get great care here. I know the staff goes above and beyond for me and others. I know if I ever need anything all I have to do is ask and it's done .

The therapy was good and was useful and I like to spend more time on it. Food preparation requires more seasoning. Like the idea of home and evaluation. All staff is caring.
