We almost lost my mother -n- law due to an incompetent cowboy boots wearing Doctor. She was sent there for rehabilitation on a foot wound only by the end of the week she had started swelling and we talked to the nurses and they were going to get with the Doctor and see what was going on with her. By the next week she was so swollen her eyes were swollen shut, she could hold anything in her hands and she was terribly constipated. She (we)ask for something to help with constipation and swelling but it never got better. She complained about how miserable she was and was ignored. She said that no one came when she called for help. Because her hands were so swollen she would drop her food or drinks and no one would come and help or clean it up. I had to come and feed her when I could. This was hard on her because she normally did things for herself. The Physical Therapy team was great they would constantly check on her and tell them about her swelling and constipation but still nothing was done. I finally got to speak to the Doctor on 7/19/2019 and she had been at the facility almost 3 weeks and there was no change and no effort by the Dr. or staff to get her better. So I ask the Doctor what I needed to do to get her to the hospital and he said it wasn't an emergency case and that he would give her some Lasik and I could leave her there. I decline his offer because I knew (and I'm not a Dr.) That that fluid build up could kill her so I took her to the hospital and sure enough if she hand not gotten there when i did, she would not be here today. There was so much fluid on her lungs she was drowning in her own fluids. It was a horrible experience. Please keep an eye on your loved ones. And if you don't see a change for the better get them out. Again thank to the Physical Therapy team and afew others, u know who u are cause we spoke.

My grandmother is here to rehab after surgery. Her roommate constantly asked for over an hour to get help going to the bathroom. They keep telling her she has to wait. She finally wet on herself to her disgrace. She was embarrassed and upset. The floor staff did nothing to help and did not return for another hour and half to attempt to clean her up. Thank goodness we have family here all day to help granny to the bathroom and to get her what she needs.

My father in law has been there for awhile now. He has been getting painful blisters all over his body and no one seems to care. He was taken to the hospital at our request for blisters on his hands and feet and now theyre all over. Where is the staff doctors? Nurses? And then they mentioned a derm appt after my concerns. A dermatologist should have already been contacted. Low quality healthcare for the elder. Please dont utilize this facility for ur loved ones.
