nice place but the woman managing the front desk is incredibly rude and needs to learn some manners. So, SO dissapointing. I hope she doesnt act that way towards her resident's. That would be horrible. I would NEVER have anyone in my family move there. There are better options. With MUCH better management.

I am the COO of Amada Senior Care and I have been providing caregivers at the Oaks for nearly 3 years now. I've been very pleased with the management at the Oaks, they are so welcoming and compassionate and really care about their residents. The building is BEAUTIFUL!! On several occasions I've been invited for lunch and the food is quite good with portion sizes that are just right. If you're looking for a place for your parents, I strongly recommend the Oaks. There is a real sense of community with the residents, it feels like a great place to call home.

The Oaks is well managed and residents are in a happy environment to enjoy social and activity events. Delicious food and snacks are always available.

I would like to offer my input concerning The Oaks as my experience and observations of the facility differ from previously posted reviews. In the later part of August 2019, I moved my 86 year old mom into this facility. Unfortunately she was only able to stay just a few weeks before having to move into a nursing home due to health issues. While there I visited her nearly daily and saw how terrific the staff and management are. The new managers started about the time I moved my mom in and they did everything to make her welcome as did the staff and residents. I was able to eat with my mom and the food was quite good. The portions aren't as large as most retail restrauants but considering the folks they're feeding, large portions are not necessary. I'm 68 and don't eat the portions like I did when I was younger. The meals were more than adequate for an elderly person and it should be noted, they offer as much food as the resident requests. If a resident wants 3 appetizers and 2 desserts with their meal, they will serve them happily. During my visits, I watched the residents and visited with them and only a select few had issues with the facility. The activity director was super and made every effort to get folks involved. The amenities offered there are terrific for elderly folks such that they can fulfill almost all they're needs. The average age is 83, and one resident was an active 100 year old. I highly recommend this place and assuming it fits one's budget, it's a good place to be.
