I enjoy my weekly visits for prayer and Communion. I also get to meet other wonderful residents who are eager to share their stories with me. A caring and loving atmosphere which shines through their staff.

I visited Discovery Commons at Spring Creek, Garland, Texas on Friday August 2, 2019. Oh my goodness! I have lived in Garland almost 10 years, travel this area almost daily and never knew it was there! What a secret treasure! Beginning with the parking lot and landscaping, this facility looks brand new, very clean, well lit and gorgeously decorated! The dining room is huge and beautiful, complete with tablecloths and cloth napkins....now to the best part, the people! The residents were very friendly, happy, had a great rapport with the staff. That is what really matters, right? The staff seemed relaxed, calming, very caring, more than qualified....this is a gorgeous, quiet and peaceful place that is certainly worth considering if you are looking for senior care!

My mother has lived at Discovery Commons for two months. The staff and team have been very helpful, kind and accommodating. They are friendly, quick to assist and have made mom feel very special. Mom's studio apartment opens to the courtyard which she really enjoys. She has a rocking chair, bird feeders and is looking forward to having some potted plants as the weather improves. The studio apartment is small but has a large closet and equally large bathroom. Mom enjoys the kitchenette with the freezer to hold her beloved Blue Bell Icecream. Mom has made many friends, both residents and staff, who have given her much happiness. The food could be improved.

Im Celesse and I give Discovery Commons 5 stars. Ive been here for nearly two years and I really like the new management. This is such a very nice place with very good staff. The food is good and the Chef is a special person. If I have any maintenance or housekeeping requests, the Maintenance Director is quick to respond. The nurse is a very nice lady who answers any questions I might have. My showers are on time, and my apartment is kept clean by staff. I love bingo and we have a good activity calendar. This is an excellent place to live.

My name is Hank and Ive lived at Discovery Commons since November. Ive lived in two other assisted living places before this one and they dont compare. This place has staff and management who are friendly and helpful. I get my medication on time, the housekeeping is excellent, and the food is good. The head nurse is always nice and ready to meet with me most any time if I have any questions, or just want to talk about something.
