administrator is very rude. I got yelled at for trying to inquire about the facility. FYI. When your a administrator you should show example. And your phone #was given by your staff who works at your building maam.

Great place! After much research Im glad I chose this place for Dad. The staff is friendly and kind. Veronica the nurse is very knowledgeable and on top of things. My dad who suffers from dementia states hes comfortable and content. I highly recommend this place. I praise and thank all the staff.

My husband has been well cared for at Desert Springs. He is always treated with respect and is clean and happy. I visit every day and know how hard the staff works to do a good job for their residents. Amanda Choe is always responsive to any concerns and often helps the residents at meals and with other duties... far beyond what most directors do! Veronica, the nurse is always on top of things & is a tremendous asset for resident care. I would recommend Dessert Springs to anyone!

After much research and deliberation, we chose Desert Springs as a safe, living place for mom to continue living with dementia outside her own home. The biggest issue we faced was too much staff turn over, not enough supervision and continuity of care during nights and weekends, absolutely terrible management and leadership from Amanda Choe, the Director. Mom was left in same clothes many times through the week, room not cleaned regularly w/ feces and soiled paper left around, toilet left overflowed for two days. People who were not incapacitated (I.e wheelchair, walker) were left wandering too much. Many items were missing such as shoes, stuffed animals toiletries, snacks. They have one RN for 6 centers and he isnt available to the other staff train and supervise in dealing with multiple phases of dementia behavior. The people who are supposed to be leading and managing are not available and the remaining staff is left without supervision or accountability too much of the time. We worked with corporate BAKA Enterprise but things didnt improve because there wasnt follow through with what they said they would do. We had to move mom at just 7 months of staying there. They did not treat mom or others with dignity in a consistent way.
