Facility has a clean & manicured lawn, the best first impression. Upon entering Security Code is required....(Safe and secured is a plus for me.) Upon entering the facility for the first time everyone was friendly and helpful ( even family members of the residence) The energy felt very warm and welcoming. It was a busy day everyone doing their jobs. I noticed the residents were being entertained by a session of activities. everyone in attendance was engaged. The staff member on duty was doing a great job at helping the residents with the craft. I must say Everyone works as a team to give the best care to the residents who are at this facility. Visiting other facility in the field this has been a great experience.

The love and care was found in this place. My health was restored in this place. And if it wasn't for my doctor seeing me in the facility, I would have not known I had a blood clot. I am 72 years old and was well treated. A door was open to administer the word of God and I am very grateful for that.

I was beyond happy with the care my mother received. I would highly recommend anyone looking for care, or therapy to come here, whether it be for a short stay, or a long one. The care is phenomenal. It is a family like atmosphere.

My mother was recently admitted to this facility, she loved it there. She recently had knee surgery, which the doctor recommended 5-7 days at a rehab facility since she lives alone at home. My mom didn't want to go, but realized that was a better option for her to make a full recovery. We got there around 4 pm on Friday, and we were received by the staff in a friendly and welcoming manner. I told her I would meet her there and the same service she said she got when she arrived, I did too. The entire nursing team, and rehab therapists worked every day with her to ensure she was using her limited days to her full potential. I had seen the google reviews of other facilities and this one, but when I visited the facility without letting anybody know i was going, it was clean, smelled clean besides having carpet, the staff seemed friendly and the patients looked happy. They even have nurses that sing in the dinning area. *** TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE FACILTY!!!!**

My family member was sent here for physical therapy, she arrived from the hospital walking and left this place 2 weeks later unable to walk and not being able to breath. She had acquired a stomach bacteria while there and had bouts of diarrhea, the majority of the time nurses took extra long to arrive and get her cleaned up. This place seems to be short staffed, some of the younger nurses are nice and friendly, some of the older ones are mean and inconsiderate. Please think twice when sending your loved ones here!

My father was in this facility 1 year ago he came in very weak and unable to keep his balance the therapy they gave him was great in 20 days i got to take him home everyone he was so happy to be able to go home and took only good memories of the facility.

Senior Care of Edinburg is a very good place to be when you cant be home. The staff is caring and compassionate - the physical therapy above average. I do have a bit of experience since this is my second knee replacement along with 2 hips. There is a friendly work with you atmosphere and competence to do that! Very positive experience!

I spent 3 weeks at Senior Care for the third time from reoccurring foot wounds. All my visits here have been exceptional. Food is good. The place is very well kept. Staff is the best. I would recommend this place to anyone to get better.

Parent has been at this place for a while, seems food get worse and worse,asked for something else for him to eat, only have bread,cheese or peanut butter, Wow! Really!!! Thinking of moving him to different place,food is never what is on menu,

Senior Care is a very good place for your loved one. It is clean and well maintained. My father has been residing here for several years since it first opened. The staff is friendly and compassionate most of the times. There has been less communication to the family from the nursing staff and administration. There has been too many different administrators, the previous one has been the worse in my opinion, he was very non professional. I called him several times regarding an issue and never returned my calls. Went to talk to him several times, said he was going to look into it and call me back and he never did. My issue was never taken care of. Blanca who is the coordinator for the activities, has been there since my father was admitted. She has been very helpful to my father. At the beginning my father didnt like the idea of staying there and didnt want to participate in any activities. Blanca was able to make him participate and enjoy all the activities. She made him felt like he was at home with family. My father loves her and sees her like family now. She is always in contact with me and informs me of any issues my father might have. For example, I had mention her that I wanted to buy a wheelchair accessible van for my father. Two weeks ago she happened to see one van for sale and called me right away to let me know so I could go see it. I really appreciate all she does for my father. CNAs are very good but Maria is the best, great attitude.

The nursing care was excellent in spite of the fact that they are understaffed, and the physical therapy program is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone. My only complains are that they delivered food that I was allergic to even though I had informed them that I was severely allergic to it. This happened five times.. I was also very displeased that I was placed in a room with a person that had pneumonia because I have a very low immune system. I was quickly moved, however, by one of the nurses. All in all, I would give it a four-star rating.

We were there twice for rehab. The staff is awesome. They treated us with respect and cared for our needs.

They received us with opened arms...yet, when the 14th day arrived, we were given 5 days to leave. They made it very difficult for us to have our mother transfer when, we found a place. The day head nurse was rude when asked why my mom, was on certain medication. She went of waving her hand..saying look at her mumble...that is on her own. A few nurses were excellent, but the administration were rude at the end.
