It's the oldest nursing home and rehabilitation place as far as I know. Although the building is outdated and in serious need of updates and upgrades, the majority of the people working here are nice and courteous. There are a handful that always seem moody. When considering moving my mother to one of the newer facilities and I mentioned it to her doctor, Hector Trevio, he told us that although this facility is older and a bit run down compared to the newer ones, that the service at this one is the better of them all because they have less patients and because of how long it's been operating. As I've been here it's true that service most of the time is good. They could definitely have more people in their staff as the wait for help can sometimes be a bit long. There is effort though to keep patients engaged with various activities. I also remember volunteering periodically here back during my high school years and playing lotera with patients.

My mom was in Eagle Pass Nursing for rehab. It's a good, clean facility, with lots of activities. They have nice staff and food. It was a good experience overall.

I had my grandmother at the other nursing home in town and now we have her here I can see the difference in care and attention. We really like it overall.
