Holmgreen Center at Trinity Towers

Great place and amazing staff!

Let it be known that I would have given this 0 stars, if the website would have allowed it! I have waited over a year to write this review, hoping time would heal, but I am still very angry and extremely upset by the care my dear husband received. The day I first went to check out this facility, they put on a great show for me, even not being truthful about what they could and would provide. I repeatedly found my husband soiled, staff insolent and facility unsympathetic. I had been led to believe that they were an Alzheimers and dementia residency. When my husbands dementia became pronounced, the facility became bullying and threatening. They were horrified over my husbands behavior, (And you were/are a dementia facility!?!?) They were understaffed, requiring residence to hire additional help. On weekends they were particularly understaffed. I have moved my husband out of the coastal bend area to a memory care only facility. I have learned through this experience that a loved one needs to be in a facility specifically trained to handle this disability. I would never recommend this facility. To be honest, the situation didnt start off as badly as it ended up after Brookdale took over the facility.
