This home feels so welcoming and inviting. Im a neat freak so I notice cleanliness right off-the-bat and this place is always impeccably clean when I come over. The staff are kind and friendly. I dont have any doubts that my sweet grandpa is being taken care of well while living here! PS-I wish I could give this place a 6th star for having a fun little house puppy around! Well-behaved and brings joy to everyones faces!

Honestly the staff an Village Care Homes (Stephen F Austin) has been a God-send to our family! The decision to move a loved-one from their home is always difficult and after much research and viewing dozens of properties we couldn't be more thrilled with our decision to go with the Austin house. Jenna and her staff provide excellent care and know how to manage the ups and downs that comes with change, they have provide excellent medical care for my Father-in-Law who is practically bed ridden as a result of the toll of diabetes as well as the challenges that my Mother-In-Law faces with early dementia. The home is warm and caring, and feels like a private residence w/ family. The meals are freshly prepared and always smell great and we love that they celebrate the rresidents birthdays and holidays... even fun events like 'Cinco de Mayo!' where they broke out the sombreros and canastas and had a Taco party....they help keep the home fun and fresh stimuli to keep the residents engaged. They truly care and the home is clean and inviting! Bravo - you give us and our family such tremendous peace of mind! Best decision ever - our only regret - not making the decision sooner but so glad they are there now.

We started in this business and bought this house so my mother, who has dementia, would have a good, caring place to live. The quality of care at this smaller residential assisted living facility is far more personal and superior to what can be obtained from the more expensive larger facilities. Three delicious meals are fixed from scratch each day, and there are always fun activities planned for residents. The great staff, with a 4:1 caregiver-to-resident ratio, truly makes this a personalized and wonderful place to live in a home setting!
