A lovely little church located in the historic town of Coldspring, Texas. Reading comments by its parishioners its easy to see that this sanctuary is very much beloved. With pristine white clapboard planks and a short steeple, this beautiful church adds even more charm to the little village of Coldspring.Erected in 1858.Believed to be the oldest Methodist Church in continuous use in Texas today.Coldspring Methodist ChurchBuilt to north, on land given, 1848, by Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Rankin from and Austin county grant. Moved 1917 to new site. Bell over 100 years old. (Ref.
