Medina Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center

My mother has been at Medina Valley Health & Rehab since Jan 2019. There was a complete change in management and it is great! I am very happy. The administration, the nurses, the CNA's the difference is amazing! The care and kindness everyone gives to the residents shows! Abby the joyous social worker, Taylor always smiling at the front desk, the amazing Paula. always helpful Tiffany, Josh, the LVN Cynthia and RN Rodrick I honestly feel we are very blessed.

Great team environment; everyone is working towards making the facility a better place for the residents. I've been here going on three years, and it's only getting better and better!

I couldn't ask for a better place to work. As soon as you walk through the door you can feel positive vibes and it's great! Team work is over the top. I love how each department works together to make every thing as good possible for our residents. And we strive to be better and vetter each day! I love each and everyone of our residents and my co-department heads are absolutely awesome.

TERRIBLE STAFF!!! This facility and it's staff don't deserve the one star rating but I can't give it ZERO STARS. The staff is terrible, their response times to patient calls is horrible. I have personally witnessed nurses ignoring the room call button alarms for 20-30+ min and the nurses station in 200 hall is vacant 95% of the time and the nurses don't carry the desk phone so it's nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone. The staff aren't CARE TAKERS here to assist our family members they are just PAID EMPLOYEES here to collect a check. My father was placed here temporarily on a charity bed after a stroke for therapy, he couldn't walk. They gave him a total of 30-60 min of therapy a day and claimed they were giving him 2hrs of therapy. They charge over $5,000 a month and the most they do is feed and bathe him. I would not recommend voluntarily placing anyone you care about in the care of this facility or its staff.
