Oxford Glen Memory Care at Carrollton

After a horrifying experience at another memory care facility, we moved Mom to Oxford Glen 5 months ago. We are so thankful to have her here! Let me start at the top: the administrator serves her residents personally with compassion & respect. That attitude is visible throughout the facility because of her professional leadership. The activities director, marketing director, & nursing director all exhibit this same care. From personal experience I can also testify that they care for the families & their needs as well. The care givers that watch over Mom are very kind & professional---evidence of excellent training & job satisfaction. Activities are a cornerstone of their care & they encourage residents to participate with respect & enthusiasm. They encourage life with purpose by having activities that provide residents with a sense of contributing, of being needed. We have seen Mom greatly encouraged by such an approach to Alzheimers care. And yes, Mom is clean. The facility is clean. The care spaces are well-thought out & foster relationships. I give Oxford Glen Carrollton 5 STARS! for OUTSTANDING care & compassion for their residents!! Job Well-Done!
