My father has been here several times over the past year for skilled nursing and rehab services. I can not say enough great things about this facility. They always welcomed my dad with open arms and catered to his specific needs. The staff is so accommodating and skilled at nursing patients to a healthier place in life.

My mother went here for a couple of weeks of rehabilitation and skilled nursing. If the review was for their physical therapy and occupational therapy, I would give it five stars. Their PT and OT are outstanding and mother wanted to continue going to them on an out patient basis but they don't offer that.Unfortunately, it was the attitudes of several LVN's and CNA's that caused problems. Mother was not a demanding patient, not did she present any tough challenges. She was just there for a couple of weeks of rehab. Some of the LVN's and CNA's were very nice and professional and possessed great attitudes for their profession. However, that was not the case for many of the LVN's and CNA's. It was so bad, we left the facility earlier than planned and mother does not ever want to go back. Surly attitudes included many exasperated sighs, eye-rolling, impatience, many chips on shoulders of folks who are not in the right profession to be caring for patients. The excuse was offered many times by these with the bad attitudes that they are too busy to do whatever is needed. Again, mother was not a demanding patient by far. Mother cried many days and nights that she was there and said she wanted to come home so badly because of this treatment. She said that the nights were the worst and she dreaded them. This indicates that 'when the cat's away the mice will play'. In other words, when management is not around at night, the treatment from some is even worse. Mother knew the PT and OT was very good for her and they are very good at what they do too. She knew it was important so she tried to stick it out. She actually had about another week to go but simply couldn't take it anymore so we decided she should not remain in an unhealthy environment when she was trying to regain her health. Also, the food was often fried or spicy, which she couldn't eat. We never did figure out why their dietician thought a menu of fried and spicy food is good for elderly people. It is not. I wish I could have given a glowing 5 star report because their PT and OT are so very excellent and some of the LVN's and CNA's were good too. However, here were far too many LVN's and CNA's with surly attitudes that acted put out when they had to attend the patient. People like this do not belong on anybody's team in the field of healthcare.
