Up until Jan 2020 this was a great place for my mom to live. This is no longer the case. The Corona Virus has caused great difficulties- there has been a lack of caring, a lack of communication and the patient's rights have-not been protected. There are many caring workers there who have been there a long time. However. the decisions that come from the corporate office do not align with a caring community . We are searching for alternative options. its a shame because my mother has been here almost four years and she considers this home.

This is the first place that I have felt comfortable leaving my mother and the first place she has been comfortable staying at! General area is always clean and has a welcoming feeling! Love the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Heartis Arlington!!! Thanks for taking such good care of my mom!!!

Mom has been a resident in both the Assisted Living and the Memory Care sides since Nov 2017. The management and staff continually surpass our expectations. The facility is always clean, properly staffed with lots of activities for the residents. The staff take ownership of any issue brought to their attention and always leave us completely informed. A safe, clean place with a dedicated group of care givers at a reasonable price.Tim Begole- Arlington

The facility is nice and clean. Most of the staff are friendly and kind. The food is good. I wish Heartis would fix their work order system. I have yet to get anything done with a work order. I have had to contact the executive director every time something needs to be done. The pipes in the attic really need to be insulated. The water is so hot in the summer that my mom cant shower or wash her hands at certain times of the day. When she needed personal assistance, it was sometimes longer than the promised 8-10 minutes. Thats a big deal when a 90 year old needs to go the bathroom.

Based on first hand experience by me The staff and management at Heartis Arlington are ill equipped to handle and redirect. Do not be fooled by the nice facility, staff is all that matters!
