My father had back surgery and was admitted to The Waters of Winchester. The instructions from the Vanderbilt Dr wasn't followed properly. The facility smells of urine and my dad's room had multiple bait traps for insects. They administered medication for him to use the bathroom but when it came time for him to go to the restroom the staff would not move him or provide a bedside toilet. I, his son, had to move him to the bathroom and get him out of the chair he was sitting in and place him on the toilet without the aid of the staff. Then, it took the staff 46 min to get him off the toilet and put him back in the chair . They finally got him up after I became quite upset and told them to either get him a walker or get out of the way and I would get him up. Also, they put him back in the bed and didn't move him to a wheelchair till two days later. They delayed the process of transfer to another facility by over a day. The facility and staff do not show proper care for their patients. Stear clear of this place.
