Barton House Memory Care

I cannot say enough good things about Barton House. My dad received the most loving care for almost 2 years and my family and I are beyond grateful. Staff is caring, compassionate, and they go above and beyond for their residents. I highly recommend them.

I applied to work here as a caregiver. They make it seem like you got the job then you never hear from them again. Its very unprofessional and it puts peoples lives on hold. Very upsetting.

I worked for Barton House for a few MONTHS now let me tell you why...when I first was hired there I was excited and eager to join the team because everything came very natural to me(experienced caregiver for 10+ years) my coworkers and I worked hard filling in whenever short and was ALWAYS met with drama or negativity from nurses and management. Speaking of management, please do not be fooled by the fake smiles and friendly conversations they are all SNAKES! Starting with the director Elizabeth that never had one conversation with us or bothered to come out of her office unless she was on a mission to ruin your day by her do as I say or else attitude. NEVER engaging with the residents and was blind about anything going on in her facility. My first couple of days working there I was told by a nurse that Elizabeth hates all of us and we hate her she's not friendly. So imagine how that made me feel. Secondly, let's discuss the nursing director April White she's very bias and she couldn't careless about the residents there. I feel so sorry for the families because they have no idea what really goes on there and how they neglect them. But hey as long as there checks clear every month they will stay open and ready to take in your mom or dad! This place is sad, pathetic and should be shut down! To hell with Barton House!

We love Barton House. Highly recommend them. They provide great care to their residents and families.

Please do not use Barton House for care. They are an unscrupulous organization. They want money. They will cut corners and provide shoddy care to get it. Our experience was not good. Beware.
