Stones River Manor

I am very proud to be a part of Rutherford County's only faith based, nonprofit senior living community. Christian care and the home-like atmosphere make Stones River Manor an experience like no other.

Im a caregiver love working with the clients. But i do over hear the way nurses and staff talk about their residents in meetings. Its surprising. Not all of them but quite a few. Some in select care. Fake genuiness and are in a hurry to take care of ppl who need time. Some clients famililes agree but have nowhere else to put their loved ones. Ive had nurses call my boss and tell them im not working with clients when im with them all day but also accommodate to their wishes. When they want their alone time i respect that. I think some of them look at this as just a job and really have no passion. Unfortunate really.

I cannot even begin to put into words the love I have for the members of the skilled nursing area. My grandmother was a patient there for the last several months and not a day went by that we were not treated as family. my grandmother was extremely sick and unable to move her legs let alone stand yet within just a month Steve had her up and starting to walk again. We never imagined her being able to to home again yet this week we got the great news she would be going home! God had different plans for that however and yesterday unexpectedly she was taken to her forever home. When I arrived to get her belongingings I was met with open arms and tears from every single staff member at the facility. Not only do the nurses, techs, therapists, cooks, etc. take care of their patients, they go above and beyond become family. I will forever be grateful for how happy and healthy they made my granny in her final months...and I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt this place is truly a God send and their employees are Angel's walking on this earth to take care of our loved ones. I would point out names but I am afraid I would miss someone, but beyond a shadow of a doubt this skilled nursing facility is 100000000000% the place you want your loved ones to be.
