My personal experience is based on a loved one of mine that moved in about 3yrs ago now and we have found that, first of all they have a major problem with having a continual turnover of employees. They also never fix things that break down such as the washers and dryers that are needed for the residents. Its sad that for quite a long time there was only one washer that actually worked. 2 yrs ago they had a cosmologists and a gentleman came in for foot care for the residents, they at that time also had an activitys director that would schedule events for the residents, they also had employees that would come in and clean the apt's, change the bed sheets, wash the bedding and towels, and leave a box of tissue and a roll of toilet paper once a week. They also took residents to their doctor appts. and the the local Walmart once a week but now they have basically taken all of this away. Oh they did hire an outside company to come in and clean the apt's but these women that clean are seriously a disgrace. They spend less than 8 min. in the apt (it was timed on several of their visits) and when they leave nothing looks cleaned at all, toilet lids and the mopped floors, when and if they mop them are left sticky. How gross!! Also gross is the fact that they use the same nasty rag and mop in every apartment. And let's not even mention how terrible the food was for several months before hiring a new cook. And now because they can't get their employees to come to work on Saturday and Sunday mornings to serve the residents breakfast they decided to have a continental breakfast of which every single residents hate and complains about. All of this that I mentioned is why the residents that move in here only stay for a very short time. The sad thing about all of this is that the owner especially and the managers don't care about the very people that actually provides them with their livelihoods. It's a real shame because this place has so much potential. The apartments are the only reason my Popa stays there. His apt. is so darn cute. He has a one bedroom apt. and we love his little patio. We have had to get used to the fact that there are no amenities worth talking about except the dinning room has gotten so much better and that his apt. is perfect for him and that's really it!!!

My name is Danny and I have volunteered at Legacy Estates on multiple occasions and I have never had a bad experience in anyway. I think the staff is exceptional and the residents always seem to be humble and right at home, It is always decorated in different ways depending on the occasion. The food always smells good and the dinning room is filled with smiles and friendly conversations. I enjoy myself there especially on the pool table and I am always looking for a reason to visit again.

This post below is 100% accurate...please do look around and research other places before signing. Ask the residents that are stuck there. food is terrible: Corn dogs and pink lemonade for dinner.......yes you read that correctly......... same breakfast every morning, they have no choice when it comes to food,my client complain about the food and they told her that she don't have to eat it.Administration staff is rude and careless.
