Our experience at Trinity Hills with our father was terrible. We were sold in to the facility assuring us that if our fathers health declined they would be able to accommodate him. That was a lie! The administrative staff is all over you with their friendliness and caring spirit.....until youre signed in, then your lucky if they even speak to you! We were always concerned with nights and weekends there because they were poorly staffed. There has been a great turnover in staff in the year my father has been there. Lots of times there were temps working from agencies that did not know the residents which placed them at risk! My father sustained 3 falls in 8 days which took him down. He passed away last week! If you are able to assist yourself and are in good mind you might be okay but should your health decline or you have a fall you may be in trouble. Also, if you do require assistance you will be paying for every little thing and hopefully you will receive it, we did not!!! I would hate to see a family go down the path we did thats why I wrote this review! Talk to the residents and visit at different times, including the weekend, to get an overall picture of the facility before placing your loved one there.

Our family placed our mother in Trinity Hills around 8 months ago and we have been very happy we did. She has mild dementia, but feels that she has her independence back again. She has enjoyed meeting new people and the chapel services offered. Being next door to a church is also helpful. The staff has been friendly with an open door policy to discuss any concerns. Is everything perfect? No and no situation ever will be. We find that the more we are engaged, the more we appreciate the help giving our mother the best end of life that we can.

I have never been so disgusted with a place as much as I have been with Trinity Hills of Knoxville!!! Our Dad choose to live there because of the things we were told from Caroline Wilder and Molly Ford of Trinity Hills which ended up was FALSE PROMISES!!! We quickly found out that Trinity Hills was VERY UNDERSTAFFED AND ESPECIALLY ON THE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS!!! Within a year there was a high number of turnover in the staff positions on multiple levels from the Director of Nursing on down to the Resident Assistants. We thought we were placing Dad in a ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY, but it ended up that ASSISTED LIVING was only in the category of things the facility supposedly offered. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND TRINITY HILLS OF KNOXVILLE TO ANYONE I KNOW IF THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A PLACE FOR A LOVED ONE!!! Our Dad was only there right at a year before he passed away just a week ago and we were so disgusted with this facility that we were in the process of looking to move him from Trinity Hills when he passed away. If you are looking for a facility like this one for your loved one I suggest you keep looking an not trust Trinity Hills of Knoxville with taking care of your loved one.
