Memories are made here. You cant walk the halls without feeling the kind of happiness you cant fake. The residents, staff, resident families and even the vendors.. they all know what great things come with being part of the Red Cedar Glen Family

I visit all of the Senior Care Centers in Hendersonville on a regular basis. This one beats them all so this was our choice for my father-in-law. He loves it! The staff is second to none and that includes the hairdresser who is so nice! The food is great. I have personally eaten 10 or more meals there including 2 Thanksgivings. Every staff member becomes like family! Do check this out if you or a family member needs Senior care. Warm, caring atmosphere from all!

Love Brookdale Hendersonville. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Residents are well cared for and Krisha and Dawn are the best.

Updated: My grandfather passed in June. Despite his age, it was unexpected. I have contacted the facility several times by phone and email. Nobody will tell me what I need to do to get his unused funds refunded, in accordance with the contract. My grsndfather paid by check, and its a good thing he did because their billing was wrong 7 out of the 8 months he was there. If its this hard to get information about a refund after his death, I cant imagine what it would be like to try to get erroneous bills corrected on a monthly basis had my grandfather allowed them to do automatic withdrawals. Their errors were always hundreds of dollars in their favor and always required me talking to them and, often, showing them the contract. Its been nearly 6 months since his passing. His death was hard for me, and this place only makes it harder by making it impossible to get a refund. Ive heard good things about Park Place. You may want to try there instead. Previous review: My grandfather had to find a place with a short turnaround period. Krisha and Dawn were so helpful at facilitating the quick move-in. The staff is very nice, and the rooms are bigger than others in the area. The price is surprisingly low compared to other lower quality facilities in the area. Although there are a lot of residents, I feel like Krisha and Dawn are familiar with my grandfather and strive to communicate to him in a way that he is comfortable. My grandfather is not pleased with the idea of living in an assisted living facility, and he may never fully accept it. But, Brookdale's staff has worked really hard to help him adjust as best as he can. The food options could be a little better, which is the only reason I don't put this as 5 starts. There are many meals that do not have red meat options. This makes sense when considering that many elderly are eating light. But my grandfather has anemia. Also, he's not a fan of casseroles and such. He'd much rather have meat, potatoes, and vegetables. There is an Always Available menu, but it also does not have red meat on it in some months. And, the ordering process for the AA menu could be a bit more streamlined (like having order papers on the table the meal before). Nonetheless, the dining staff are so nice and very accommodating and attentive. They are better than the staff in most restaurants!
