I am looking for an new assisted living home for my parents, and have visited a few senior and assisted living places in the Franklin area. Courtney took me on a tour of Maristone yesterday. She was extremely helpful by identifying and matching all my parents needs with the amenities of the facility. She answered all my questions, and I left with a very good feeling of Maristone. All the staff I met yesterday were extremely nice. The building was nicely furnished and clean, with beautiful flowers In the courtyard. The residents all appeared happy and content. Maristone has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and I am definitely considering this as an option for my parentss new home.

As an ex employee, I wouldn't recommend anyone to be a resident. Some of the workers are just there for a paycheck. They neglect the residents and are very lazy. Residents will go hours without being changed and weeks without a shower. The most disturbing part is myself and other employees would go to management informing them that residents weren't getting changed nor getting showers and management did NOTHING. This made me feel like they didnt want to do anything because that would cause them to be short handed. There were even a few times when 2 of the residents that couldn't feed themselves didnt get fed. There is no accountability for these actions. This place is a no no!No thanks, he is one of the managers that was informed of the issues and did NOTHING... Maybe there should be an investigation!?! There have been several complaints including family members about the same issues. The only thing done was they moved the employee out of the family members sight. Once the family member was gone, they moved the employee back where she continued to play on her phone. Im sorry to say, but NOTHING will be done until there is some accountability. The residents do not deserve to be treated like that. But hey, its your company. Do what you want.

My father has been at Maristone since November of 2017 and has received excellent care. The staff members are friendly and professional, and I enjoy seeing them when I visit Dad. Judy, the activities director has been so kind to our family, and her gentle persistence has nudged him to participate more in the social events and start having more fun. Some of the caregivers and nurses have gone out of their way to make Dad feel more at home. As a veteran and a strong man, depending on others and dealing with memory loss has been a difficult thing for him, but the team members at Maristone are helping walk us through this new chapter of life. Were grateful.
