Signature HealthCARE of Erin

I was so blessed that God had a hand in sending me to SHC of Erin for my occupational and physical therapy. I was treated inpatient for close to a month after being in Vanderbilt for a week. It was so hard being away from home that long and feeling so bad did not help the situation. Everyone that I had the pleasure of coming in contact with treated me with respect, caring, but most of all with love. As I watched and often participated in the daily activities, I realized God sent me there as a life lesson. I have so much love and respect for the nurses, CNA'S, admissions, kitchen, housekeeping, patient assistants, and absolutely everyone who cares for residents in this type of environment. I have had to go through physical therapy programs before and probably will off and on the rest of my lifetime, but the program at SHC has far exceeded any from before. The young ladies (and their fearless leader) are so knowledgeable and personable. There were days that I didn't feel my body could even move but the caring and motivation from this team helped me become stronger and gave me faith in myself. I will be going back for several weeks for outpatient therapy. I feel like I made many friends from the people who work there people who live there, as well as Sparky, Bella and Thelma and Louise. God opened my eyes and my heart, he helped me learn so much more about myself. Thank you does not really seem to be enough to Express the gratitude I feel towards everyone who cared for me, visited, sent cards, texts and love and encouragement. To everyone at SHC of Erin, you went above and beyond any expectations I ever had of this type of care. If my health worsens to the point that I have to have long term care, SHC of Erin is where I want to be. I will see you in a few days for a new phase in my therapy! God bless each and every one of you for what you do!!!

I love SHC of Erin because. It has laterally helped to change my life. I have been here going on 11 years. And when I first came I did not want to be here at all. But as time went on I grew to love this place. If they told me I could leave today I would not go. I love the family atmosphere, I am closer to the people here than my own family. They are here for me and makes sure I have Quality of Life. And they truly love me.

I have been with SHC of Erin for almost a year now and truly enjoy working with all of my coworkers. It is one healthcare facility that I can say truly cares about its elders. We all seem to attempt to gain personal friendships with each elder to provide overall better care. There are always activities for elders to become involved with that range for all types of hobbies or interests.

I have been with signature for 1 year and the love I see that is shown to the elders here is amazing. I have seen people get to go on trips and activities outings from fishing to Las Vegas. All around great place

Signature of Erin is the best skilled nursing facility by far, in my opinion. When I first walked in, I expected to be greeted with the smell familiar to nursing homes. This facility has ZERO SMELL. The care is exceptional, the facility is extremely clean, even down to outside the building. The staff members take pride in their work and better the quality of life for the elders by taking them on outings and getting creative with activities! They go to the movies, go to restaurants, go shopping, literally everything. Its so much more than a nursing home and truly is a remarkable place! I work in healthcare and see many facilities and none compare! When the time comes, I will place my loved one here and have full confidence they will be taken care of better than I ever could!
