Garden Plaza at Cleveland

This is a great place to work! One big family! The residents and staff are absolutely wonderful! The staff really care about the residents! The residents are #1 priority!

From the first visit to tour and learn about this facility, the staff at Garden Plaza Cleveland has been superior. They make everyone feel at home, special, included and wanted. My mother moved into independent living in March of 2019 and has enjoyed her new surroundings. She has made friends and smiles a lot. Recently she had a fall which required her to be moved to assisted living on a temporary basis. Ken Bolin, Executive Director was most kind and generous in facilitating the move. Lynda Copley, Marketing, made sure we had everything we needed and Nova Nahill from nursing has been very receptive to our questions and cleared any concerns quickly and efficiently. It was wonderful that this move was just down the hall, having both independent and assisted living in the same building. I would highly recommend Garden Plaza Cleveland for your family member. They truly care. The peace of mind that my mother is well cared for in priceless.

My husband and I were living in Charleston SC when we made the decision to move back to Cleveland, my hometown. We carefully conducted online research for independent living facilities in the area. My niece visited Garden Plaza on our behalf and Lynda Copley was wonderful in showing her different patio homes and apartments, answering questions, and being making herself available for our telephone calls. My niece sent two floor plans to us that she thought we would like. We selected one and contacted Lynda via e-mail and telephone. Within a week we had finalized our move-in. We actually signed up and moved in without ever having seen the site, based upon our niece's recommendation and the excellent service we received from Lynda.Lynda's attention to detail was meticulous and she is very friendly and helpful. Our move progressed without a hitch, and we were set up in a patio model for the few days until our furniture arrived.We lived there for a year and a half while we looked for home to buy. We were still fairly young. At all times Linda, the remainder of the staff, the Executive Director at that time and others, were all top-notch...responding quickly to questions and needs; providing excellent meals; and the list goes on. We were very happy there, and Garden Plaza will be the first place we will consider should we need to give up our home as we grow older.We made many friends there and enjoyed our patio home and neighbors. If you are looking for a great retirement place, please consider Garden Plaza.

My mom spent 5 years at Garden Plaza, but then the management changed and for months they made our lives miserable and ratcheted up our costs to force us to move my mom out. Unless your loved one is hip and cool and has no medical issues, Garden Plaza's probably not going to work for you.
