Would not recommend. My mom is there now. Everytime I call her no answer because she cannot reach her phone. When I checked on her, it was dinner time. Although a dinner tray was delivered, they did not place it close enough to her so she could not reach it. I watched through the window as she almost fell trying to get to it. I called and called on the phone for someone to help and could never get through. She isnt being changed and sits in urine. I called the administrator Ben and nothing changed. He never even returned my call. Only other option is to file a complaint with the state.

VERY disappointed in this establishment. My father(100% disabled) had a stay here a couple years ago and we had a great experience. After needing a place to stay after a water leak at my dad's house, we got a bed at Hickory Woods. Every time we have visited, there has been an issue, whether neglect or having his supplies stolen. (Others who have visited him came to us concerned about the state of my dad and his room after they have visited as well.)Unfortunately we have to continue his stay until a bed opens up at another facility, but we will not be back or recommend this establishment.

I must admit that I was hesitant at first coming to Hickory Woods, but it was the best decision I have ever made! The facility is beautiful. I've been to other rehabs and they all made me feel like a prisoner. At Hickory Woods the activities are great and I even got to pick tomatoes in the garden. I had almost given up because I was depressed and my body was broken. But the great rehab staff got me back on my feet and where I needed to be. Thank you Life Care of Hickory Woods for giving me back my life!

Many thanks to everyone from Paul the 'front man', the helpful receptionists, the amazing dietary staff for working with my mom's health needs, awesome PT and OT. Debbie Guy the recreation leader is exceptional....i have caught her and the receptionist Angie jumping in and going above and beyond to help even with the patients. Brad Whittaker always hands on with special needs, Mandy and Jessie in Social Services rock!One particular tech, Teresa and one nurse, Lindsey on Union Station/300 hall really stood out. My mom has several health issues and we just would not have made it a couple of times....they literally saved my mama's life.Not everything is perfect, you won't find a place that is! But the facility is beautiful, food and activities very fulfilling....just as a family member, be sure to get to know the staff and work with them and your senior should get good care!

What a beautiful facility Hickory Woods is! When I came to the facility I was very sick and required 24 hour care. The staff definitely delivered and it meant the world to me! I can't say enough about the loving staff, they were just precious! The nurse on my hall was very knowledgeable and reassuring. My great experience started in the hospital when a handsome young man named Brad came to see me when I had questions about the facility. He answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I can't recommend this place enough.
