Wellmore of Tega Cay

I have enjoyed working at Wellmore for almost 4 years. The nursing team is caring, helpful, and truly focused on what is best for our residents. I also appreciate the team working together and the work family feel in the community. I would highly recommended Wellmore.

My mother has been living at Wellmore of Tega Cay in the memory care section since the summer of 2018. I have been very pleased at the care that she has received as well as the dedication of the staff. In researching and visiting various assisted living/memory care/nursing home facilities in the state, it quickly became evident that not all facilities were places I could leave my mom because I was not willing to do so. Wellmore is not one of those places. From the day she began living there, I have been comfortable with the fact that she is being well-taken care of.

Despite being one of the most expensive places in SC, this place doesnt seem to care about dignity, leaving our relative in a room where cleaning practices are very questionable. The staff confirmed to us multiple times that the cleaning crew will never move any of the furniture to clean, and act surprised when garbage accumulate, please avoid this place. I ll gladly share with anyone who inquires the latest pictures we took on our latest visit as we cleaned all the stuff they never picked up from under grandmas chair, bed, and other furniture.Edit : despite 'Owner response' this issue has been brought up many times before. The regular cleaning routine does not involve cleaning under furniture, or ever moving furniture, and the problem is bound to happen again. I expect businesses to take advantage of old folks here and there, but profit margins should not go against the right to a clean living environment

I have had the privilege of working alongside this staff for the past 5 months. I have seen 1st hand how they care for the residents as well as the patients here for rehab. From the nursing staff...to the therapy staff...to the executive staff - the care and intentionality they each give puts the health and well-being of their residents & patient's first. Any person needing the services this facility provides would be hard-pressed to find another place more professional and caring.

Best skilled nursing facility Ive seen. Very comfortable and visually appealing. The staff is nice and obviously cares about their residents. Would definitely recommend!
