This place is beautiful. Nice quiet area. Plenty of space and things to do well planned out. Found model and site we love (wooded preserve behind us). If you golf you'll be in heaven. At least 10 courses within 10 miles. 20 min drive to big beach. Looking forward to buying n moving in.

I owned a home at Margaritaville in Hilton Head but sold it to move to North Carolina where I bought a DR Horton new construction home. I am far more impressed by the construction and finishing quality of my previous home at Margaritaville than I am with the DR Horton home. My home at Margaritaville was perfect and the attention to detail was incredible. My DR Horton home is satisfactory for my present needs but the finishing is poor. I encourage people to buy at Margaritaville. It is an impressive community. I needed to live somewhere a bit cooler in the summer and I am more of a mountain person than a beach person. I praise Minto and Margaritaville for their great construction, value and care. I kind of took it for granted as do many residents.Former resident

I REALLY wanted this to be the best place that I had ever seen and would be ready to pack my belongings and move here ASAP. I was sorely disappointed. The entrance is beautiful and the welcome/sales center is impressive. I loved the model homes, all 9 of them! Although, I'm not sure I ever disliked a model home; the decorating takes my breathe away. After visiting all the homes with the Buffett music streaming, we decided to go to an actual street where residents are already moved in. The exterior of the homes are kinda ugly, at best with weird duos of colors on the homes. I like front porches, always have. Not one model has a front porch, disappointing. The small lots don't bother me, but the narrow street with parking only on one side and no sidewalks is confusing. If you want people to be active, sidewalks would be a start! The home prices are bare bones minimum. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is an upgrade. By the time I would add the things I wanted, I could buy a place actually at the beach. Hardeeville is not Hilton Head and looks like it is in the middle of nowhere.
