They did not help my relative get any better. They rarely checked on him throughout the day and IF they got him up, the exercises they were having him do was not helping. Some of the nurses were not very friendly and the food brought out was cold half the time so we just ended up taking him out of this place and hired a nurse to the house every day.

*A MUST READ* Pruitt of North Augusta only cares about money. They dont care about the well being of the patients or the staff. Patients are sick and instead of them sending the patient out for further evaluation they keep them in-house for treatment and some actually die!! (Per DHS caz they loose money if the patient go out) Some patients request to go out and are still kept in-house. They accept patients that other facilities reject due to being a liability. They have recently accepted a patient who has a disease that cant be treated, why because its all about money. This company has no morals or standards. And it is not the place for anyone love ones to be. They had a bed bug outbreak and the proper interventions was not done and several complaints was made to state to no avail. (because it wasnt a big risk) When state comes everyone acts nice and want to clean up rooms, as well as patients and get the patients out of bed. Putting on a fronting image.........sign a reliable source

I have a family member that is a resident here. The people that work there are caring, and courteous.

Please...!!!!!!!!! please understand that it is VERY IMPORTANT TO READ THE REVIEWS...They don't even deserve a half of .. I had a family member here and it's nothing short of what everyone is reporting. This is a terrible place to have someone you love. The staff has their picks on who they want to do for. Patients have actually died..in the two year period I have seen at least four people that have been in the same room with my loved one passed away SUDDENLY!!!!!! From the whiff of talk about how the nurses are mistreating the loved ones from the mouth of the people being kept. I've witnessed this nasty biased fake money hungry place up close and personal. If you cannot be up there around your family members daily...I Strongly suggest that you DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!.They seem to be nice and caring when you are there but as SOON AS YOU LEAVE. Make this place a last result. You will not like your love ones to be in this HELL HOUSE.... The people don't not care about your family at all....it's some nice people there but hey even salt looks like sugar
