If no stars were an option, that's what I'd chose. Incompetent staff nearly let my dad slip into a coma though we repeatedly told them something was wrong. Unprofessional environment. NEVER send your loved ones there!

My 82 year old mother was at this facility for a 30 day strengthening course. She was not showered for 6 days; slept in her street clothes; and was discharged with a stage 2 bed sore that was not disclosed. You can contact me if you have questions.

I wouldn't even give one star. This place will not take anyone that's been in an accident because they don't want to wait on a third party liability to pay. They don't care about the patients, just the money. My mother needed rehab after a full hip replacement and the person I spoke to told me they don't have to take her even with her insurance because they don't deal with third party. I've been in medical billing for 15+ years. We have never treated patients this way.Just as an update, I contacted Medicare, which the admissions person told me good luck with that, and they said it's not legal to turn a Medicare patient away and that they would have paid the claims and then went after the third party if there was one involved. I already knew this, but when a place is more concerned about money than a patient. Let's see how you all like it when Medicare contacts you about it.The reply given by your executive director is just a bunch of hot air. You didn't even try to help my mother. You basically said you weren't taking her because it might be a third party liability and the rep telling me good luck contacting Medicare, well Medicare took my side. They should be contacting you so have fun explaining to them why you didn't want to take a Medicare patient because you're worried about not getting paid.

My wife was there for rehab medical staff was very good and so was rehab staff. Food was great . If you did not want the daily special they had a very good menu to choose from.

My 90 year old Grandmother has recently had to make some big changes in her life. My family and I are grateful for all of the support that the staff at Myrtle Beach Manor Rehab Facility and Assisted Living have given us. All the way from the administrative, to nutrition, nursing and tech staff have all been helpful in guiding us to make the best decisions for my Grandmother. Dorothy and Carolyn have gone above and beyond to make sure the transition from hospital to rehab and now to assisted living has been as smooth as possible for her. My Grandmother has always been independent and stubborn, this new home and staff are allowing her to be the same independent and feisty woman we love. It is also going to give her the ability to be more social. The past few weeks have held a lot of changes for my Grandmother and we believe it has all gone much smoother than expected thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff at Myrtle Beach Manor.
