Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park

I really love it here!! What impresses me most about Merrill Gardens of Carolina Park is the sense of family between the residents and the staff! These are truly caring people whose job is not just a job but a calling. Our general manager, Elizabeth, is outstanding. As a resident, she is truly approachable and listens to your concerns. She exemplifies an outstanding work ethic for her staff, and I can truly say that Ive seen her step up and do any job that is needed. The administrative staff here is extremely friendly as well as professional. The food is great and the chefs and servers are amazing!! Not only do they work extremely hard, they go above and beyond to be both patient, kind, and caring. The caregivers and med techs are also wonderful caring people. Although Merrill Gardens is new, I feel confident they are working with their residents to provide for their needs and also wishes promised by their corporation. I would highly recommend Merrill Gardens.

The Merrill Gardens Facility has wonderful, friendly residents. The feeling of being part of a large family is prevalent here. The food is outstanding and served all day. For my husband and I, this senior living residency has everything we could want to enjoy the years of our retirement. The senior staff employed here are the best when they can do their job.Most of the short comings are a result of decisions made by a Corporate Office across the country. The promised pool never has materialized, the Garden House for memory residents has little to no recreation program. With the culture of Charleston a bus ride away, the Merrill Garden bus has only twelve seats and no hired driver to drive to evening events.With the number of residents increasing monthly, I would hope that Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park would be allowed to live up to its fantastic possibilities.

Very poor place. Unprofessional managers , no good staffing. Building full of trash & boxes in the hallways by residents rooms.

Beautiful facility, however our Family was very misled about their capabilities. They ARE NOT set up to provide care for those needing Assisted Living. We had to spend the time, energy and expense to move my parents after only 3 months. Please be cautious! Administration and Accounting very slow to respond.
