River Falls Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

This place is a dump. If you care about your loved one don't even look here. The employees don't care a out the patient's they are only there to collect a check. They spend more time hiding. This place needs to be shut down

River Falls is not a fancy facility, but the care and concern I received there as a rehab patient after 2 back surgeries was exceptional. All the Nurses, CNAs, Physical Therapy staff, and just everyone were very easy to work with to help me get well on my road to recovery. Tasty, well balanced meals were served. Can not say enough about the compassionate care at River Falls Rehabilitation. Our nurse went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable leaving my grandmother. The food is good, the environment is dated, but clean, and the group activities were entertaining. You can feel the love these ladies have for their residents.

The only way I know to describe this facility in a nice way is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND DISGRACEFUL ( Not all ) but the majority of staff are very cold and show no compassion for the individuals. This facility is VERY disorganized . I have only witnessed a few acts of kindness. If you think that talking to your loved one on the phone will be easy, think again. I have never seen ANY medical facility ran this way. This place is the type you end up unfortunately reading about in the newspaper. I highly feel that they are very understaffed or it could be the normal way they operate. I have witnessed individuals sitting in their BMs for at least 4 hours on several different occasions. I pray and hope you strongly consider all your options before placing yourself or your loved ones here. I would not wish the things I have seen in this facility on my worst enemy. It makes me wonder what things I dont see. Unfortunately I had no warning about River Falls, but I wish to the good Lord above that I had. All I ask is that if you care please CAREFULLY make your decision with 100% confidence on any facility!

I just want to say thank you to all of the staff that cared for my granddad. They were extremely compassionate and went above and beyond their personal duty to make him feel comfortable. Some even used their personal cash to bring a smile to his face. Wonderful facility and I highly recommend.
