Summit Place of North Myrtle Beach

I have experienced a lot of assisted living facilities as an ex EMT and this is by far the best place Ive been. I know my family is in great hands

Summit place is not what it appears to be on the surface. The Aides there are rude and disrespectful to outside agencys. They leave the residents in thier bed soaked in urine not feed. The aides are rude and lazy, in situation an aide tried to physically attack a Aide from an outside agency. Bulling should not be allowed at all. There should not be bugs flying all around a residents room, and bathroom. Resident should not be on the floor while you are standing there talking outside the door. The surface may be gits and glam, but you will not uncover the truth unless you are on the floor. Unproffesional, hostile, disresptful, negectful, lazy environment. Please do not send your family members here.

My mother has been a resident at Summit Place for almost a year now, and her overall health and attitude has improved immensely. The staff and management team are top notch and always stay on top of any problems that arise with Mom. They make sure that the residents are engaged in numerous activities every day of the week, and really excell on holidays with special meals and entertainment that you would normally expect at local ticketed events. They routinely change the decorations to match the seasons and spirit of the holidays to add a festive feeling as soon as you walk through the front door. The dispensing of medication is done precisely and professionally, with a system that appears to be without any room for error. All these factors together have given my wife and me immeasurable peace of mind, and we want thank Tommy, Holly, Roberta, Gen, and all the wonderful caring staff for their outstanding commitment to excellence.

I am one of many volunteers that visit Summit Place of North Myrtle Beach. The staff is always helpful, friendly & cheerful. The residents are their family, & the living conditions are immaculate. They are always happy & very well cared for. Summit Place is definitely a step above, & If I was to move to an assisted living home, this would be my choice.
