I can't speak for others but I can for myself. My grandmother was at Generations, and it was the most beautiful place. The care was really good as far as our experience went. Also, my grandmother was fully aware, and sharp as a tact, trust me she would have said something if it weren't a good place. Tim Slice, the owner was exceptional. He would get in his vehicle and go get my Grandmother a candy bar if she wanted one, as well as other kind things, and not only for my Grandmother. No place is perfect all the time but these folks try to care for family members the best anywhere could. Thank you Tim Slice

They abuse the elderly. Somehow their camera don't cover everything and don't have tapes after incidents.

As someone who is a Registered Nurse. I can honestly say I would fear for my life or my families life. I am on their home care service. One of their nursing assistants stole all my pain medications, she wasn't fired but rather moved to the families that live on site. So that aide can be taking care of patients that have dementia and won't know wrong is being done to them. The second aid I had I liked but due to THE HORRIBLE managements skills of Denise and David the aide was taken away from me when I went in the hospital. Every day, Denise, a women who is supposed to be a manager for the company would tell me the name of a different aid that going to come to my house. Finally someone came after a week of them scrambling to find someone. The women was lazy. As part of her job, she was supposed to do linen changes on bed, clean kitchen and my bathroom, She did half of what she was supposed to do and the rest of the time told me how dysfunctional the company is and tried to get me to tire her privately. When she left, I told her I had a very important doctors appointment the next time she was coming, I had it planned for her regularly scheduled time she was supposed to be here. She never showed up. I missed my appointment. When I called Denise, who again is supposed to be the manager( patients in this program are totally dependent on their aids to help them with the tasks of daily living) Denise yet again made up another excuse this time saying I made the nursing assistant scrub things on her hands and knees. It is all untrue, even the workers who work there say the care isn't good, Unlicensed non-professionals are allowed to handle narcotics, nothing is stopping them from taking them. If your family is in there, and supposed to be on medication, nothing is stopping the aids from taking the medications.. Just like they did mine, except that I am smart enough to have cameras in my house. The management team is horrendous. The owner is very kind and sweet but she is not involved in the day to day care and Denise is unable to run her own life much less be responsible for care of very sick human beings. She is all talk, scatter brained and lies. I was told the aid said she was made to do deep cleaning. If deep cleaning is food shopping, and dusting Then yes, she was paid to do so. On a day with no one to help me get me to a doctors appointment or get food in my house, I was not told that I wouldn't be getting help. As an RN who has served the community for years and the unfortunate victim of this very poorly run business. RUN AWAY and keep your loved ones away as well. They may be able to put on a good front but they allow assistants who have not been throughly background checked to work as well as a lack of responsibility for the patients in their care
