Visit my grandma. - staff was horrible

I am giving Wyncote Place zero stars. Wyncote Place is a disorganized and unprofessional facility. During my mother's 3 months there, she lost 9 pounds, failed to have medication administered properly, failed to have lab tests performed as ordered by her doctor, and had her property stolen. Neither the executive director or staff showed any concern; these are only a few of the problems I encountered. The care was so poor I removed my mother after 3 months, knowing that she stood to lose a $4100 non refundable community fee, and $3000 in rent paid. The company that operates this facility, Enlivant, is equally negligent in addressing concerns. I wrote a letter of my complaints, reached out multiple times to try and recover her money, and have received no adequate response or resolution from Enlivant. Putting my mother in Wyncote Place was a decision that I deeply regret. I reported Wyncote Place to the Department of Human Services due to the care my mother received while there. In her new facility the nursing care and attitude is exceptional, and she is doing very well.

My father was always clean whenever we visited. His room was also cleaned daily or whenever needed. He was there almost 4 years. The staff was wonderful Thanks to Shannan, Sam, Latoya, Kim and everyone else for taking such good care of `papa. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needed assistance with their loved one.

Everything at Wyncote Place speaks to a caring and dedicated staff. Both of my parents have lived here now for over a year. They have both received excellent care. The medical staff are extremely capable and quick to step in when a situation arises. The activity directors are extremely good at cheerfully engaging each resident according to the resident's ability. The variety of activities is amazing, with many different types of entertainers, and groups coming in to interact with the residents. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are so helpful whenever we have needed help hanging pictures in my parents room or getting supplies. The building is very clean, pleasant to look at and nicely laid out. There is an enclosed garden for the residents to come and go as long as the weather is good. I have seen several assisted living and nursing home situations over the past three years. The operations here are extremely well run and organized. Everyone is really so nice and cheerful; which makes a big difference in how the residents feel and react.
