RMV was home to my father for 2 years. The staff was always polite and supportive. If we had a question they didn't have an answer to, they would always find out for us. Our father was always clean (even though he was a messy eater) and taken care of. Considering how many residents are there and how many people are on staff, I feel they did a very good job. Personally, I think they can use a few extra people on staff on the weekends. The Activity Director is amazing! She has something scheduled for the residents pretty much every day Monday through Friday. Also, the VA is located across the street. Every time there was a function there, they made sure to take the veterans to the VFW to participate. Is it perfect there? No. Absolutely not. However the IF you visit your loved one faithfully and remind the staff how you would like things done for them, they will make sure it happens.
